Mechanic - North Dakota Job

We are looking for a mechanic to support our Bakken production operations. The position will be based in New Town, ND. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of field equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Promotes an inclusive work environment.

• Support pre-job and hazard assessment planning.
• Perform routine corrective and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment including but not limited to heater treaters, separators, artificial lift systems, pumps, motors, tanks, and facility piping.
• Provide hands-on support for production operations and maintenance of its facilities.
• Coordinate facility maintenance with maintenance, production, construction, work over and completions organizations.
• Planning and site supervision for contract resources.
• Provide post job feedback to maintenance supervisor and production operations.
• Perform pre-start up facility inspections.
• Utilize Click and SAP PM for maintenance planning activities.
• Report failure modes and mechanisms into Click/SAP PM
• Utilize SAP PM reporting to help identify bad actors and recurring maintenance issues.
• Work with planning and scheduling team to ensure compliance with planned maintenance activities.
• Work with GSC to ensure appropriate inventory transactions take place based on work completed.
• Review and approve contractor invoices.

• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, loaders, etc.)
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Work Schedule: 

The selected candidate will work an 8 and 6 schedule with the potential for after-hour call outs and overtime.
