The role provides an opportunity to build a broader perspective of the business through exposure to strategic data analysis and outputs.  A role for highly motivated and analytical individual with an understanding of building workflows (in Alteryx), managing data connections to the) source of truth (SAP/BW, Procount, Snowflake, etc.), and output the data to multiple visualization tools including Spotfire and Tableau. Primary job responsibilities include understanding planning business requirements, working with IT to correctly structure data, building workflows and creating intuitive and insightful business reports. The role requires a creative thinker who keeps up with business needs to deploy the most efficient solution of accessing planning, production & cost data and manage tools for the users.



  • Manage internal production reporting workflows to the executives and asset team
  • Collaborate with IT & operations planning on building efficiencies into the process (upload and download) Enersight (planning tool) PDS’s
  • Support existing Competitive Intelligence (CI) Alteryx workflows to establish seamless data flow into the CI monthly reports. Manage 3rd party external data sets with the support from  IT in Snowflake
  • Establish governance around data quality (for planning & CI data) and support other team members by building effective workflows to access be able to create visualizations.
  • Collaborate with asset teams to extract OBO data from Energylink system to build key opex & capex takeaways through an appropriate visualization platform
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the planning organizations on Enersight PDS loads into Snowflake for Anaplan
  • Serve as point of contact with IT on managing planning data mart within Snowflake and provide reasonable support to the planning teams
  • Potential rework of Evergreen Economics & inventory workflows in Alteryx to bring more efficiency into the process



  • Degree Required:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Years’ Experience:  10+ years overall
  • Knowledge Required:  Must be proficient with data analytics, and visualization development
  • Travel Require:  N/A
  • Previous experience working with asset teams (in planning/F&A/other functions) to understand and document business requirements and effectively communicate with technical resources.
  • Experience with data analytics and Spotfire and Tableau reporting tools.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives, manage timeline expectations, and ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter and motivated.
  • Working experience in Alteryx tool is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake & AWS is a plus.
  • Understanding of Oil and Gas production data is a plus.
